The rifle rack

Compare the flight. Learn the rifle. Find your own holdover.

Drag to rotate

Standard rounds · calm air · approximate drop below a level barrel. These are game estimates, before sight adjustment. Every rifle uses the same comparison distance; your chosen ammunition and wind change the shot.

The practice range

LEARN THE RIFLE · EARN THE DISTANCE

Watch for lulls and direction changes. Your chosen zero carries over for this rifle. Each attempt is five shots; completed distances can be replayed freely.

Choose the round

Each rifle keeps its own character. These modifiers apply to that rifle's Standard round. Scope zero is calibrated with Standard, so changing ammunition changes where shots land.

Standard

The reference round. Balanced speed and aim movement.

100% speed · 100% aim movementAvailable from the start.

Match

A steadier sight picture. Slower flight means more drop, drift and lead on moving targets.

94% speed · 80% aim movementUnlock: 6 campaign stars.

Swift

Less flight time, drop and wind drift. The livelier aim makes a steady release more demanding.

108% speed · 112% aim movementUnlock: 18 campaign stars.

Long Range

A modest speed gain with a steadier sight picture. A useful compromise for distant shots.

104% speed · 85% aim movementUnlock: 36 campaign stars.

Aim movement is the game's handling modifier. Wind still varies during flight. Compare shots on the same lane, using the same rifle and zero, to learn each round.

Find your rhythm.

On PC, move the mouse over the range to aim and left click to fire. Use Lock mouse to capture aiming before firing; your first shot also requests capture. The capture status tells you whether it succeeded. Press Escape to pause and restore the menu cursor. Right click toggles the sight; R reloads and Space holds your breath. On touch screens, drag to aim and tap FIRE; releasing a drag does not shoot. On a keyboard, use arrow keys to aim, Enter to fire, F for the sight, R to load, and Escape to pause.

Use Sight for a closer view. Hold Space or HOLD BREATH to settle the sight; release it to recover. Your rifle cycles between shots. Magazine-fed rifles need a reload when empty.

Each main shoot is five shots, scored out of fifty. Three stars on all four shoots unlock a stage’s first bonus. Add at least one PERFECT stamp in that same stage to unlock its second bonus. PERFECT means five tens.

Look at the wind flags. Aim above the target to compensate for drop and into the wind to compensate for drift. Set a fixed sight zero in Options, or leave it at Level and use manual holdover. Scoped reticle ticks are one mil apart, with half-mil marks where space permits. Zeroing is calibrated with Standard rounds. Other ammunition shifts the impact. Zeroing does not cancel wind or remaining drop at other distances. Slower rifles need more holdover. Try unlocked rifles on earlier courses; each rifle records its own best result. Rifles have maximum course distances; choose Course rifle to restore the assigned loadout. Equipment and round types unlock as your star total grows. Bonus medals unlock alternative finishes.

Use Low graphics for older tablets. Music is off by default; enable it in Options if you want it.
