3D Printing in Progress: A Toilet Door Hanger Made for a Laugh
A bit of toilet humour, Creality SignForge Beta, and a small amount of grey and black PLA. Not every idea needs to become a three-week project.

Sometimes the idea is just a joke
I wanted a toilet door hanger that announced 3D PRINTING IN PROGRESS. A little bloke sitting on the loo would apparently be producing his own filament, with 100% ORGANIC FILAMENT underneath. Immature? Possibly. Worth printing? Absolutely.
The whole point was to make something quick, have a laugh and move on before I turned a simple joke into a full-scale design expedition.
Creality's AI tools got the shape moving
I used Creality AI Creation / SignForge Beta to put together the door-hanger layout. MakerMouse, my AI assistant, helped with the SVG artwork for the toilet scene. I chose the arrangement, brought the pieces together in Creality Print and prepared the two-colour job. This was AI-assisted, not a model I painstakingly drew from scratch.
And the file had to do more than look amusing on a screen. I wanted the lettering readable and the hanger to sit on a real door handle.
One small print, one genuine laugh
The grey-and-black PLA print came off my Creality K2 Pro looking close to the slicer preview. I used a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers, two walls, 15% gyroid infill and no supports. Creality Print estimated 1 hour 20 minutes and about 17.2 g including colour-change overhead; those are slicer figures, not a stopwatch or a measured filament weight.

It's now hanging on the actual toilet door, not just floating around as another digital model. The photographed lever handle fits. I haven't tested every handle shape or other materials, so check yours before printing.
Download it, print it, have a laugh
The model and print profile are hosted on Creality Cloud. That's where I keep the downloads, so anyone who prints one can also leave a make or comment there.

If you put one on your door, I'd love to see the result. The world has enough serious projects; this one can just be funny.
